FLASH is a high energy circuit workout that is practitioner designed and participant driven. The pace and intensity follows the focus of the program design. The exercise lists, found on FLASH Cards at each station, are broken into different levels of exercises called Fundamental, Conditioning and Performance, and the participant chooses from the list at each station.
FLASH participants will experience a high caloric expenditure, great aerobic / anaerobic conditioning as well as improved muscular strength / tone. Because the exercise selection at each station is participant driven, each exerciser has a sense of ownership in the workout and in the success of the session.
This Pilates workout is designed to train the core in a wide range of body alignments from standing to supine, prone and lateral positioning on Total Gym. You will start with standing series to work the core through movement, stability and balance exercises and then move onto the glideboard for more traditional, yet energizing. Pilates training, Participants will work out through multiple planes eliciting a full range of motion in every Infused Core exercise unique to Total Gym. The workout introduces a group of Core Series in which each is designed to target and overload the body in a specific movement pattern.
It engages 10-16 year olds by linking exercises to all sports activities and competition but above all, emphasising the "fun" factor. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to:
- Improve posture
- Gain strength
- Learn healthy breathing techniques
Training on the incline board of the Total Gym GTS, we'll help the mums-to-be better realign their posture through a series of exercises designed to strengthen and tone your tummy and pelvis. You'll feel your backache diminished, water retention reduced, and a better mental alertness. You'll be better prepared for labour and a faster return to pre-pregnancy body after birth.
All training will be done in the GRAVITYPilates classes.
