Totally Hot is a fun, fast-paced 45-minute total-body sculpting workout. Delivers two-in-one cardio and resistance training designed to work muscles to fatigue and burn calories while targeting trouble zone to enhance those parts where you want to feel Totally Hot!
Totally Hot requires participants to complete a series of high energy, multi-plane exercises on Total Gym, utilizing the principle of muscle overload with minimal recovery for head-turning results in less time. Performing higher repetitions of each exercise in the Totally Hot series propels users past their comfort zone to improve functional performance, strength and speed, while pushing aerobic and anaerobic thresholds to sculpt the body.
3D Effects adds more advanced reformer exercises to the familiar GRAVITY Pilates repertoire. Since one never moves in one plane of motion, the strategy behind 3D Effects is to strengthen in the cardinal plane and then add compound exercises to integrate multiple plane movement into the training program.
The benefits a participant will derive from 3D Effects include muscular and core neuromuscular endurance, improved strength and improved “mostablilty”- the ability to remain in an element of core stability while challenging mobility of the extremities. This workout brings an energetic pizzazz to the traditional Pilates spirit and sparks improved vitality in the participants through dynamic energy and movement patterns.
It engages 10-16 year olds by linking exercises to all sports activities and competition but above all, emphasising the "fun" factor. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to:
- Improve posture
- Gain strength
- Learn healthy breathing techniques
Training on the incline board of the Total Gym GTS, we'll help the mums-to-be better realign their posture through a series of exercises designed to strengthen and tone your tummy and pelvis. You'll feel your backache diminished, water retention reduced, and a better mental alertness. You'll be better prepared for labour and a faster return to pre-pregnancy body after birth.
All training will be done in the GRAVITYPilates classes.
