Pilates Body Pilot



We are more than a Pilates studio. Using the Total Gym® GTS equipment, we are the first and only Pilates studio in Singapore to incorporate GRAVITY® workouts into our Pilates classes, Post-rehab and Sports Conditioning programs.
We are also the Official Host Centre for GRAVITY® Teacher training and development.

In addition, with our 3-step holistic approach, we'll assess your real nutritional needs through Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® (FDN) and determine just what you should be taking.

Our mission is "an integrated holistic approach" to understand why you suffer from your symptoms. We believe there's always a reason behind every action. You can expect to set yourself free, relax and have fun. The moment you let go, you start to understand and listen to your body more. You feel renewed and gain deeper awareness of who you are at Pilates Body Pilot.

  

How We Do It

At Pilates Body Pilot, we practise three core values: Thorough, Intelligent and Open.

Thorough
We always research well into the mind and body of our clients to find out their needs. All private clients go through a highly stylised session of assessment to ascertain their body and mind wellness before actual training commences. Personal goals are also set so that we (teacher and client) can work towards them together.

Intelligent
We teach with improvisations instead of rigid theory. Even though our teachers come highly certified in different areas of expertise, we don't just conduct an exercise routine for the sake of doing, we make sure our clients understand why. We use creative ways to teach the logic behind it to unleash hidden potentials so that you can gain more awareness and knowledge about your body.

Open
As our classes are always kept small, our attention is almost personal. We enjoy discussions and open dialogues to facilitate information sharing.

 

Studio Location

Our studio is located at just minutes away from residences at Rochester, Dover, Holland Road, Pasir Panjang, Farrer Road and Bukit Timah areas and near schools including Tanglin Trust, UWC and ACJC. Being located at a ground floor unit, we are easily accessible to patients of nearby health-care practitioners such as Chiropractors and Osteopaths.

Christopher Chua, Founder

Christopher Chua
Christopher has been in the fitness industry close to two decades. Starting as Personal Trainer in a gym, he realised that "getting big" or toning certain areas was just not how he envisioned health as it should be. He then went on to the holistic health path and the training he has received particularly from Paul Chek (founder of the C.H.E.K Institute in California) in the areas of Core Stabilisation, Functional Strength, Nutrition and Lifestyle Assessment, has allowed his clients to improve their posture, functional health, rehabilitate chronic injuries (back, shoulders, knees), weight management and improve their sports performance and overall conditioning.

TZE YIN
    Tze Yin graduated with a BSc in Sport Medicine (Honors) from the University of Taiwan and started her journey in teaching proper exercises to solve clients' chronic problems. When she realised that she needed to help more clients, she started to learn Pilates. During the session, she focuses to educate, guide and explain to clients why they need to have a healthy spine by integrating the body and improving self-awareness to achieve and maintain their fitness goals. To Tze Yin, “learning is an endless journey!”
