Pilates Body Pilot is the dedicated Host Centre for the GRAVITY® Training Program which is an instructor training program offered in more than 23 countries worldwide. GRAVITY® training courses allow fitness/wellness professionals to expand their knowledge in the areas of personal training, group exercise and Pilates -- while earning CEC/CEU credits.
Pilates Body Pilot conducts these GRAVITY® courses:
- GRAVITY® Foundation
GRAVITY® Foundation is the introductory training course for all fitness professionals seeking to gain practical experience and knowledge of the Total Gym® GRAVITYSystem®. The comprehensive two-day course covers movement execution and its connection with incline bodyweight training, including the concept of SMA adaptability, and muscle isolation to integration. You'll apply this to the Total Gym® Exercise Library, which includes more than 120 exercises performed on the Total Gym incline trainer. Attendees are engaged in the process of creating progressive and regressive GRAVITY exercise programs that are scalable to client ability and based on program efficiency.
Pre-requisite: 18 years of age with a current fitness certification from a professional certifying organisation or an accredited degree in Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Kinesiology or equivalent.
About The Course Presenter
Christopher Chua has been in the fitness industry for more than a decade. Starting as Personal Trainer in a gym, he realised that "getting big" or toning certain areas was just not how he envisioned health as it should be. Chris then went on to the holistic health path and the training he has received particularly from Paul Chek (founder of the C.H.E.K Institute in California) in the areas of Core Stabilisation, Functional Strength, Nutrition and Lifestyle Assessment, has allowed his clients to improve their posture, functional health, rehabilitate chronic injuries (back, shoulders, knees), weight management and improve their sports performance and overall conditioning.
